I was born and raised in Upstate New York. I started becoming interested in Graphic Design back when I was in Junior Highschool by doing simple web design. I’ve always been attracted to advertisements and design. I actually find advertisements on trains and magazines as interesting as works in a museum.
I attended SUNY (State University of New York) Oswego where I graduated with a BA in Graphic Design and a minor in International Business. I feel the two compliment each other well. It's important to know the marketing points in design, not just the design itself.
I studied abroad in Japan at the University of Tsukuba for the 05'-06' school year. It was my third time staying in Japan and from my first trip I fell in love with the country and the language. For the year I continued my studies in Japanese and design and had an amazing experience rowing for the university's crew team.
I have a very good sense of humour, lightly sarcastic, and get along well with others. I consider myself to be laid back but a hard worker. After spending so much time in Japan I have learned to work at a sufficient fast pace. The absurd scheduling between schooling and my crew team has taught me well. Time management is important and deadlines are always met.
